Has anyone thought about doing this? Am I lame for wanting to? There is a movie coming out soon with Jack Nicholson called "Bucket List" in which he and Morgan Freeman make lists of things they want to do before "kicking the bucket". It looks really good!!!! But hey who doesn't love a little Jack?
Anyways, it got me thinking last night of all the things I want to do before I die. I need to make a list. Does anyone have their list made and have you started checking things off?
I have always wanted to send a message in a bottle. Where would it go? Who would get it? Would they cherish the words on the paper? Would it eventually reach the hands that the letter was meant for? Or would it end up in a pile of trash on the banks of the ocean?
I will start my "Things to Do List Before Kicking the Bucket".

We should all have a bucket list. And actually do those things too!

I have always wanted to send a message in a bottle. The problem with growing up in a small town though, was that the bottle would have probably ended up on the banks of some farmer's land down the river, who would know my dad, or recognize my handwriting, then people would know it was me...ugh.
But one day I will do it - one day.

My cousin saw it last weekend and said it was good. I agree it's something we all should do. Can't wait to see your list. I might just do it, too. There are a •few• things left that I'd like to do!
I am working on my list and will share it once it is completed. But this is going to take awhile...
I have done everything I ever wanted to do. Now I am just waiting. It's sad actually.

I tried doing the bottle thing once, but it just sat there in the toilet for days...
this is sort of a morbid post. are you thinking about death a lot, or just romantic in that you want someone to read a letter from you that you've sent by the ocean/sea?
how romantic would that be?!! imagine it. you write your heart out on paper, stick it in a bottle and fate interrupts the stream and it gets to that one person in the world that you want to read it.... :)
aahhhh... wouldn't it be nice if everything were as romantic as the movies?!!
