Softball starts TONIGHT!

Kate's first game is tonight! Isn't her uniform just the cutest thing? You can't see it in this picture but her socks are pink with white hearts on them. Her team are called the "The Diva Queens" and their colors are black and PINK! Woo Hoo! Mommy is thrilled PINK! ;)

Awhile back I posted some pictures of my daughter from last season showing the cutest pink glove that she played with, BUT a certain so-in-so DOC made several remarks that the color PINK should not be allowed anywhere in the game of baseball or I guess even softball. But after all the comments Doc changed his mind and actually said that it was kinda cute. Kinda.

The schedule that these girls have to do is CRAZY! She has batting cage practice every Monday night. Games are NOW every other Wednesday and also every other Saturday. Friday nights are practice. If no game Saturday then a practice is scheduled. Can you believe that? Lordy, how do parents handle more than 1 at a time?

Anyways, I need everyone to THINK PINK for the DIVA QUEENS!!! ;)~

Freakin Mondays!

Update: Did I tell you that the "new" assistant that was hired just two weeks ago is now in Hawaii at her condo sucking down Mai Tei's???

Yep, she worked for 7 days. It was a tease. A big TEASE! 7 freakin' days and off to Hawaii not to be back until the middle of March! (she is the "assistant" that was hired for me that only wants to work 40 weeks out of the year) Yes the same assistant that I thought would be here everyday 5 days a week...

Now I am back in the same load of crap! But with a new desk and chair in my office patiently awaiting her arrival (again....)! I have already started using the desk for another in box for myself. How sad is that? Do you feel my pain?

Oh Oh Oh and NOW I NEED TO HIRE A "LEVEL 1" assistant for myself to cover when "she" is out! What the *&^%&^&*^*%*%%*^%#@!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you kidding me Larry?

I sometimes wonder....

I often wonder and think about the people I have met in the blog world. Are they really who they say they are? What they talk about? Are they honest and sincere?

When i came across this picture it cracked me up because I bet there are "those" kinds out there. Gosh, wouldn't it be funny if here you all come to visit my blog thinking Jahooni is that Blondie in the picture when really... all honesty...
j/k but it would be funny!

This weekend is the last weekend before my sister, my BIL and nephew go back home to Bahrain. It makes me sad. But I won't let that (or the constant rain that Cali is getting) to ruin our weekend. BUT I NEED HELP FROM YOU. I can't think of anything fun to do. I want to go to San Diego Zoo but it calls for rain. What can we do indoors that would be fun and exciting for a one year old???? It's been awhile since I planned for that age so I was hoping that you all can help me be creative.

Have a great weekend everyone and I promise to show you pictures of the real Jahooni! ;)~

Sleep Positions

I was up most of the night tossing and turning. I was dead tired and went to bed right after American Idol but around 3am I couldn't sleep. Couldn't fall back to sleep. What does one do at 3am when they can't sleep? Either Sex or Think Think Think. My mind was racing. It sucked. I did however think about how I sleep and the positions in which I choose to sleep. I have only one way I can fall asleep. I have to be on my tummy with 3 pillows (sometimes 4) I use them to snuggle into... depends on which side (left or right) I start on but either side I will have my leg (knee) bended up near my stomach. One thing is constant - I CAN NOT SLEEP without one leg or foot out of the blankets. Seriously. I can't fall asleep unless I start off this way. My daughter does the same thing but she can sleep in all kinds of positions but she has to have atleast one foot or leg out from under the blankets.
So this is what I thought about for hours before getting up this morning. How do I sleep? What do I look like while I sleep? Do I go into several positions through the night and really who in the F**K cares! ;-)

So in my 5 minute reserch on the topic I came across this Picture. The list below i guess relates to it.

What your sleeping position says about you ...

Those who curl up in the foetus position are described as tough on the outside but sensitive at heart. They may be shy when they first meet somebody, but soon relax. This is the most common sleeping position, adopted by 41% of the 1,000 people who took part in the survey. More than twice as many women as men tend to adopt this position.

Lying on your side with both arms down by your side. These sleepers are easy going, social people who like being part of the in-crowd, and who are trusting of strangers. However, they may be gullible.

People who sleep on their side with both arms out in front are said to have an open nature, but can be suspicious, cynical. They are slow to make up their minds, but once they have taken a decision, they are unlikely ever to change it.

Lying on your back with both arms pinned to your sides. People who sleep in this position are generally quiet and reserved. They don't like a fuss, but set themselves and others high standards.

Lying on your front with your hands around the pillow, and your head turned to one side. Often gregarious and brash people, but can be nervy and thin-skinned underneath, and don't like criticism, or extreme situations.

Lying on your back with both arms up around the pillow. These sleepers make good friends because they are always ready to listen to others, and offer help when needed. They generally don't like to be the centre of attention.

So what do you think and how do you sleep? Maybe I need a new position so I can sleep the entire night!

How to spend my tax return(s)???

The husband did our taxes the other day with Turbo tax. We usually have our accountant do them but last year and this year he did it himself. He says it was easy and quick. Guess we are getting some money back. I was hoping for more (of course) but I guess getting thousands is better than having to pay thousands! Right?

Hubby and me = not good right now. Our 10 year Anniversary is in May. He wants to make reservations like NOW for our Anniversary trip. Anywhere I want to go that is "Tropical". I don't know what I want period. Period.

Do I really want to spend that much $$ on a vacation if all we are doing is trying to kill each other with our eyes and words??? I thought the "bend" in a marriage is 7years but I am finding mine to be 9-10 years... okay maybe 7 too and wait, it was 5 years as (This can of beans can wait...)

Also with all the rain this year in Cali, our roof and patio structure in the back is falling apart and leaking, so that will be some fat bills. I remember being young and calling my landlord when problems like these arose, now I call the husband. LOL

And i want a new car. I am tired of driving a Big Huge Loud Diesel Truck and now when I get in my Toyota Camry I feel so low to the ground (I mean LOW like Fred Flinstone low)

I want want want... but I still have some bills that need to be paid off, so what to do, what to do with the tax return??? Any ideas people?

This and That...

Wow, I have been a busy little bee... just buzzin' around doing everything and anything. I finally have an assistant at work which means more work for me right now trying to train, blah blah blah. I thought having one would help me but I don't see any light at the end of my tunnel!!!

Staying busy has helped keep some things off my mind. I have been going through a lot lately. Personal issues that I haven't talked about and not sure if I want to open that can of beans just yet. But I do know that I have great support and therapy from all of my blog buddies. funny but just last week Reggie wrote a post about how girls talk about personal drama on their blogs, etc. etc. But I have never done that. Only that once when I was sexually assualted on the freeway. I try to keep it simple and fun. Why depress all my 20 readers?? lol
Life is too short to be stressed all the time. don't cha think?

It is less than two weeks before my sister goes back to her home in Bahrain. It makes me sad to even think of it so I won't, just yet. We had a fun weekend. I will post some pictures of the Long Beach Aquarium that we visitied yesterday and today they drove to Hollywierd to do what all silly tourists do. Thank gosh I had to work! ;-)

I haven't visited your blogs much lately. Forgive me. I have plans to go home today, crawl into bed with my laptop and read read read. I need a good laugh and I know forsure that I can get that from "certain" someone's :)

Happy President's Day Everyone.... except for you Mr. Bush! that was mean wasn't it?

This is my most adorable nephew of all times... Mr. Nuuf. Naief. Nuuf Nuffies. Isn't he FREAKIN' CUTE?! Yes he is.... he is yummy all over. Little booger bug.

He just turned one right before I left for Houston. I wanted to take a moment to give this little guy the proper shout out that he so rightly deserves.

He is almost walking. He loves to mimic your facial expressions and loves music. His father is a musician so i guess it only comes natural.

Anyways... Happy Birthday Nuufies. Auntie Jahooni loves you very much.

Oh yeah, the cute little blonde is of course the infamous Kate. Isn't she a cutie too???

Love is in the air.... oh wait, it is almost Valentine's Day!!! Kiss Kiss.

I am back....

Hello everyone. I am back from Houston. sicker than sick!!! I shouldn't have traveled being so sick. I thought I would die alone at the Hilton in Houston. I was THAT FREAKIN SICK!!!!!

I am trying to make some changes on my blog. I have this VISION of how I want it to look, so bare with me through all the changes.

I feel like I am going round and round in circles lately. Whew... I need a BIG HUG!!!

Texas Bound....

In 8 short, very short, teeny hours I will be in a plane headed to the Great State of Texas. Yup, I said just that, 8 HOURS! I am WIDE AWAKE. I can not calm down after spending 9 hours (last night and 4 hours today after work) sorting out Brownie Cookie Sales. OMG!!! What was I thinking??? And packing and stressing and being sicker than a dog!

Anyways... I thought by doing research on the state that I spent many of my "growing" years would help me to relax. Maybe I would find that old happy place where I went to as a young child. Maybe I would remember those never "forgotten" teen years that have slowly slipped by...

I remember when: my family moved there.... we go way back. Those were the good ole' days.

And when: I carried one of these in my backpack to school...oh wait, they still have those don't they? That is one of the electives I believe...

But ya know... I am looking forward to this little adventure. I hope to come home enlighted on the happenins' of Good Ole' Bush's homeland. Oh what fun this shall be. Until later Ya'll! ;-)

Count Down

I am counting down the days that this man is out of office... Yippee! Actually I think this picture is too kind, don't you?

Heard on Kiss FM (Ryan Seacrest) radio show this morning that Obama was playing basketball this morning and couldn't "call in to the show" but Hillary did. I would think that of all days TODAY is not the day to be playing basketball. Ping Pong maybe but not basketball... j/k

I hope to get to the voting polls today after work. However, I have the worse flew/crud/chest cold/virus, etc. EVER! Gawd, I feel that a train has litteraly run over my chest. It hurts to breathe and the cough that comes with this... Evil Evil Evil. I have an earache today as well. No fever thank goodness but I complelty feel like shit. My husband brought this lovely gift home about a month ago and passed it around the house. I was taking Airbourne praying that I wouldn't get it, but WHAMMY I GOT IT! I feel that this little whammy guy is going around me banging my head and chest really hard!

Please send some well wishes my way or something to make me laugh people! Don't make me laugh too hard because my chest really hurts! ;-)
