I love Scrabble. My sister has a Master's Degree in English, but I beat her every. single. time.
How? Strategery! ;-)
You gotta have a strategy. If you're playing against somebody with an extensive and creative category you have to block the triple word scores. That's the key to the game right there.
I just beat computer Scrabble on "Elite" a few nights ago. I scored a 367.

I was thinking of buying either that or Monopoly for my mother and me to play as we've always enjoyed them as a family. So I got her computer Scrabble because she loves her computer word games, she played it once and never again! Nothing beats a good real-life game though.
