Ohhhhh how I miss July 4th!!!! Gosh... this is like so much of a favorite holiday for me. I can remember all the times me and Hashim went out and watched the fireworks from our apt. in Lewisville. We could sit right outside our apt. and watch them.... it was so much fun. I love fireworks.
and the hotdogs... hamburgers... your hubby's margaritas.... yum, yum!!!!
Yep.... but tomorrow we are doing it "up", steak and lobster!

oh gosh... does the 4th have parades??? hmmmm, i'm not sure. usually it's thanksgiving that has the HUGE parades. the 4th is independence day and it's celebrated w/ fireworks in most major cities and a lot of traveling and such.

On the 4th aren't there any Minutemen parades?

Hello it is Katelyn it is 4,th of July today. I,m doing this myself I wanted to do this on Mommy,s bolg because I wanted everyone to see it. I got my cast off probuly it was a month or a year ago but let,s not worry about that I,m going to 2nd grade I was in 1st grade now I,m in 2nd grade. My Mommy is so really proud of me that I,m doing this. love,Katelyn
hi katelyn! i knew it wouldn't be long before you got on the blog scene. i wonder if there's a group of child bloggers.... you should search and find out. you could start a little bloggers group for kids that are interested in the same things as you! like softball, cooking, dancing (even belly dancing and we still have the videos to prove it!)... and mentioning dancing, does mommy ever let you wear that belly dancing costume i gave to her? or did grandma make you one??
you know, i saw a parade on one of the morning shows here... good morning america or something. not a big one but they were dressed up in red, white & blue, carrying flags and whatnot...
so i guess they do have parades....
and gay parades wouldn't be at the 4th!! the best ones are on gay pride day and w/out a doubt Halloween. i've been to one of those.... man oh man... the best costumes you'd see anywhere!!! i just loved it! :)
