Okay, remember these lunch boxes? I do.
I had several different ones when I was a child. Maybe even this one... but I was more into Strawberry Shortcake or My Little Pony.
The other day my 7 year old daughter laughed at me when I saw one in the store and wanted to buy it for her to take to school for 2nd grade. She thought that it wasn't even a real lunch box!
To find this picture on the web, I actually found it in a "Vintage" area for "Old" lunch boxes!!!!
I feel old. But hey, maybe she can start a new "old" trend and bring them back. I am thinking of MAKING her take one to school!

gosh, i'm like you... i wish these would come back. what do they carry to school nowadays?? little paper bags or something? i don't remember what you had when you were little.... but i remember you carried it all the time. your father carried one too :) but the adult version ;)

i love to look up vintage things. sad how fast things go out, huh?! and it does make you feel old.
She carries plastic ones... thermal. Very boring. Basic colors.

Hehe, yea my mother said that her friend's daughters in Houston carry paper bags. That's all I remember when I was at school in the US, and a few thermal bags. Maybe elementary school would have been different if I'd been there then.
As it was, I was here in England for that, and I had a Muppet Show lunchbox! Yep, the tin box with the plastic handle just like yours. Packed ever so neatly and topped with a love note from Mum :)
I've been to lots of vintage shops in London and am amazed to see that things I grew up with are now on sale in glass display cases...

Yes my sister gave me it. That is what she calls me. Crazy but it fits me. I read about your love life... sorry to hear that it didn't work out BUT never give up on love!
