To my sister....

Today is my sister, um naief's (hypnotic verses) birthday.
She lives in a far away place so I can't give her a big birthday hug or a pat on the butt for ALL THE YEARS she has been born ;-) Us Americans have a weird tradition to spank the butt for the number of years that you have been born, BUT was that ever a tradition, really? Don't worry I am not saying how many (even though the little sister part of me is coming out... LOL)

But what I can do is tell her how very much that I LOVE HER and that I MISS HER so very much! I can also sing (or type) the birthday song, so hear goes...imagine my voice, okay? Or maybe not.

Hymmnnn..... cough cough. Wait. Clearing throat. Okay.

Hymm.... Doe, Ray, Me, Fa, So, La, Tee, Doe........ cough cough.

Should I or Shouldn't I????

I have one tattoo. It's of a butterfly. It's small. It's on my left ankle. I got it when my sister was here visiting me before going to live in Bahrain. It was for my 30th birthday. She got one too, but on her back. I wish now that it was bigger with more colors in it. It's kind of plain.

Maybe I should ad to the one I have... make it an ankle band with flowers, butterflies maybe a lady bug or something. There was a lady bug that came into our house last night and landed on the magazine that I was reading. Doesn't that mean good luck. It just stayed there and crawled up and down my arms.... my daughter was jealous of course and just HAD to play with it and then finally before going to bed we let it go.

I am really thinking of getting another tattoo. I watch Miami Ink a lot and I get all kinds of ideas but always chicken out. But now that Kat Vondee has left Miami Ink, moved to L.A., she has opened her own shop up called LA Ink. Maybe I should go there and get one done by a PRO.

Isn't this one butterfly pretty? BUT the question is, would it make a good tattoo?

Is there anything worse than having a Spring cold? Its sucks.

My daughter had it just a little for the last couple days but WHAM BAM THANK YOU MAM, I now have it!!! My ears ache, my throat hurts, I can't breathe out of my nose.... Up most of the night tossing and turning, wishing that a sleep fairy would come to put me into a deep deep comatose sleep. No such luck.

So today I am sick , pissed that I am sick, irritated that I am sick and that everyone else here at work is laughing and talking and making so much noise that I want to smack the crap right out of them!

Guess this is what I get. My sister and her baby have been sick and I made the mistake of saying to her "I have been there, done that and I know how it is to have a sick baby..." (which is the truth) but not what a first time mother wants to hear! Guess she cursed me into getting sick.
I think she learned a few things from some of her house maids... how to do Voodoo or maybe it was the evil eyes....

Anyways, feeling sorry for myself today. Wanting to get some sympathy. Wanting this damn cold to go away!
